The Crepe Cafe (Telephone: 2452 2569 – Map) is a cafe that serves sweet and savoury crepes, waffles, and pancakes located in Shatti, Ghubra, and Muttrah. For this review we visited the Crepe Cafe branch at the Oasis by the Sea found right next to Slider Station and Pizza Express.
The Crepe Cafe at Oasis by the Sea has indoors and outdoors seating. The outdoors area is gorgeous and overlooks the ocean. There is also an additional area for outdoors seating on the side of the restaurant, which does not have a direct ocean view, but still very nice. We went for post-breakfast dessert on a weekend and the place was busy, but we still managed to find a table outside.
The Crepe Cafe serves savoury crepes, omelettes, salads, sweet crepes, pancakes and waffles. On this visit we just came for dessert so I ordered a Mixed Berry Pancake (RO 2.2) which was topped with mixed berries, fresh strawberries, icing sugar and came with whipped cream and ice cream on the side. I enjoyed my pancakes a lot, the berries were refreshing and the pancakes were rich.
I found the service at the Crepe Cafe to be alright, the staff were friendly and my item came with no delay and as ordered.
In total we ordered 1 dessert, 1 coffee, and 1 bottle of water. Our bill came to RO 4.700.
For some reason I have not been to the Crepe Cafe as often I should, I have not tried much from their menu except the pancakes which I really like. Their location at Oasis by the Sea is gorgeous, especially if you go early in the morning or around sunset.
Have you guys been to the Crepe Cafe, what do you usually order when you go?
