Elevation Burger (Map) is a new fast casual organic burger diner located on the first floor of Muscat Grand Mall right next to Paul. I recently tried it at a pre-launch event. The restaurant is expected to open next week on the 24th of June.
Elevation Burger is a fast casual restaurant meaning that it does not offer table service and you have to walk up to the counter to order. The restaurant is quite big and spacious, but before the restaurant opens it’ll be hard to tell what crowd the restaurant will attract. The menu of Elevation Burger is very simple, they only have their organic beef burger, a vegetarian burger, a salad, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The concept though is that you can stack more than one beef patty in your burger and select your own toppings and sauces. So the default “Elevation Burger” a double beef patty burger, then they have an option of a single patty with no cheese or a single patty with cheddar cheese. There is also the vertigo burger for which you can have as many as ten patties stacked on top of each other. The fries at Elevation Burger are cooked in olive oil and can be customized with a variety of toppings as well. Elevation Burger also serves milkshakes, bottled iced teas, and cookies.
At my visit to Elevation Burger I had a standard Cheese Burger with lettuce, caramelised onions, and elevation sauce, I also had fries with cheddar cheese, caramelised onions and the elevation sauce. I ordered an oreo shake with the meal. I personally do not care about organic food, but still I thought that the burger was great, the size is relatively small yet was perfect for me, I thought the patty was tender and delicious and the bun was nice, too. I was not a big fan of the fries, the combination of toppings I had on it was recommended by the cashier, but really did not work for me. I tried some other plain fries, and I didn’t like these either, maybe I am just not a fan of olive oil fried chips. The oreo milkshake on the other hand was amazing.
Besides the fries, I liked everything else I tried at Elevation Burger. I’ll be looking forward to see how it does when it officially opens.
Elevation Burger is scheduled to open on the 24th of June, check it out and let us know what you think of it.
